This December the Arkham Film Society would like to
celebrate the holidays with you and a mess of Christmas themed shorts and
specials that we're calling VHS FOR CHRISTMAS! We will screen a feature length compilation of crazy old Christmas
shorts and weird as heck Christmas specials, this will probably be a great mix
of nostalgia and confusion as to how some of this could have been made. Many of
these are being sourced from old vhs tapes so we’re going to make our
compilation on an old tape and show it that way.
Plus there are gifts! Yes every attendee will receive a free
vhs tape (totally random titles that are probably bad) and we will be raffling
off tons of other tapes and prize packages (actually some better stuff than the
free door tapes but mostly just more stuff from our office.)
So come on out to the Black Box and celebrate the holidays
with us, vhs tapes, and some borderline creepy shorts and specials.
